October 5: On day two of the NRC pavilion construction, we mounted and assembled the entire roof structure. It was a day of heavy lifting, and a bit of confusion about the assembly process, but the roof was fully constructed by an early end of the day for the holiday weekend. The on-site construction is almost complete! All that remains is to attach the railing and the pavilion will be finished. Weather permitting, we will do this Thursday the 11th, well in time for the winter freeze.

Stay tuned for final construction news. We will be installing sensor equipment and posting updates on our findings as the winter proceeds.
